PRIVATE LABEL APPAREL PROGRAM
A successful Private Label program is more than placing a brand name on an existing garment. The product itself, material direction, labels, trims, packaging and manufacturing standard all need to support the buyer’s market positioning. HENGQI coordinates these elements so brands, importers and retailers can develop apparel under their own identity with a clear path from development to shipment.
01
Who This Cooperation Model Is For
This model is designed for brands, retailers, importers, wholesalers and e-commerce businesses that want to sell apparel under their own name. It can support both new brands building their first commercial range and established customers expanding an existing Private Label program.
02
Develop Around Your Brand Positioning
A Private Label project can begin from an existing style, customer sample, Tech Pack, design reference or new seasonal concept. Product development is then aligned with the buyer’s intended consumer, price positioning, silhouette and material direction. Rather than treating branding as a final step, HENGQI integrates product decisions and brand presentation throughout the development process.
03
Labels, Trims and Packaging
Depending on the project requirements, HENGQI can coordinate brand labels, size labels, care labels, hangtags, trims and packaging together with the garment itself. Artwork and specifications supplied by the buyer are checked against the approved product so that labelling and packaging remain consistent with the commercial program.
04
Product Range Development
HENGQI’s core product experience in sleepwear and loungewear is complemented by women’s fashion, knitwear, sportswear and other knitted and woven apparel categories. This gives Private Label customers the flexibility to begin with one focused category or build a broader assortment through the same supplier relationship.
05
Sampling and Brand Approval
Samples are used to confirm the garment, material, colour, trims, labels and other visible brand elements before bulk production. For projects with multiple styles, a structured approval process helps keep the collection consistent while allowing each product to retain its own construction and material requirements.
06
Manufacturing, Quality and Delivery
After the approved product standard is established, the program moves into bulk manufacturing. Quality control is carried out against the confirmed product and order requirements, followed by packing, shipping documentation and export delivery. For products falling within applicable scope, HENGQI’s current OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification can support customer discussions on relevant material and product requirements; applicability should always be checked against the actual certified scope and project.
07
Built for Brand Continuity
Private Label cooperation is most effective when product knowledge is retained from one season to the next. HENGQI aims to keep specifications, approvals and production information connected so future extensions, replenishment and repeat programs can be handled on a consistent basis.
